Mississauga, ON; triOS College, a part of triOS Education Group is proud to announce key updates to its Health Information Management (HIM) diploma program that will ensure students have better access to CHIMA-accredited training and an even stronger foundation for career success. As of September 2025, the HIM program has undergone program length changes for Online Remote Delivery (synchronous) and now offering Online (asynchronous) learning option. This ensures students receive updated training aligned with the latest industry standards and expectations.  

Program Highlights: 

  • Program Length: 73-weeks (full-time). 
  • Delivery Options: 
  • Online Self-Study: Updated program length with national reach. 
  • Online Remote Classes: Updated program length for Ontario students. 
  • Accreditation: Recognized by the Canadian College of Health Information Management (CCHIM). 
  • Practicum: 8-week field placement to gain real-world healthcare experience. 
  • Career Pathways: Graduates are prepared for roles such as Health Information Specialist, Records Analyst, Privacy Officer, and Data Quality Specialist.

Graduates of the HIM program are eligible to write the National Certification Examination (NCE) and pursue the Certified in Health Information Management (CHIM) designation, positioning them strongly for employment in hospitals, clinics, government agencies, and private healthcare organizations.
