Toronto, ON – Feb 20th, 2026 – triOS College has redesigned its Graphic Design Using AI + Internship diploma, now delivered in an accelerated 37-week format. Previously offered as a 61-week program, the updated structure allows students to complete their training and enter the workforce sooner while gaining modern, industry aligned skills.

As part of the Business program suite, this diploma is designed to help students build strong design foundations, develop AI supported production skills, and graduate with meaningful workplace experience.

A Streamlined Pathway to Career Readiness

Creative industries continue to evolve rapidly. Employers expect designers to combine strong visual communication skills with fluency in digital production tools and a responsible understanding of generative AI.

The redesigned 37-week diploma includes 29-weeks of structured remote instruction followed by an 8-week internship. This streamlined format maintains academic depth while removing unnecessary delays, allowing students to become job ready in a shorter timeframe.

Unlike the combined Digital Marketing and Graphic Design Using AI diploma, which includes broader marketing strategy and analytics training, this program remains focused specifically on preparing students for professional graphic design roles across print, digital, branding, and content production environments.

Expanded Skills for Today’s Creative Industry

The updated curriculum reflects employer feedback and current industry expectations. Key components include:

  • Generative AI for Design, where students learn to integrate AI tools responsibly into their workflow while understanding copyright, ethics, and intellectual property
  • Designing Websites with Artificial Design Intelligence, focused on building user friendly websites using ADI tools without coding
  • Motion Graphics and Video Editing, introducing essential animation and video production skills for digital platforms
  • Business and Entrepreneurship, equipping future freelancers and small business creatives with knowledge in pricing, contracts, client management, and financial planning

Students continue to build technical expertise through Adobe Photoshop with Generative AI, Illustrator, InDesign, Print Design, Logo and Identity Design, and a dedicated Portfolio for Graphic Designers course.

Integrated Internship and Career Preparation

A defining element of the redesigned program is the integrated 8-week internship. Students gain real workplace experience, apply classroom learning in professional environments, and strengthen their portfolios through meaningful industry projects.

Career preparation is embedded throughout the diploma. Students complete structured career planning courses that include resume development, LinkedIn profile refinement, interview preparation, and targeted job search strategies. Graduates leave with hands on experience, a polished portfolio, and the confidence to transition directly into the workforce.

Michelle King-Tracey, Faculty Head for Digital Marketing and Graphic Design and Corporate Brand Manager for triOS Education Group, shared:

This redesign reflects how the creative industry operates today. We have streamlined the program from 61-weeks to 37-without compromising quality. Students build strong design foundations, gain practical experience using AI tools responsibly, and complete a structured internship that bridges classroom learning with professional practice. The result is graduates who are confident, capable, and ready to contribute sooner.
