Originally from India, Saritha came to Canada with over five years of experience in communications and advertising and previously completed a program in digital marketing. However, while she had experience, she felt that adding Canadian credentials to her resume would help her tap into the industry. Saritha wanted a program that not only taught her relevant skills but also connected her with employers so that she could expand her professional network.

Saritha knew that she wanted to study online, and with a young child at home, she sought out a flexible program that allowed her to balance her responsibilities. When she came across the digital marketing program at triOS, she found that it covered many of the same topics and concepts as other in-person programs, but in a more compact program. For Saritha, not only was she able to study online and balance her priorities, but she could complete her program much quicker. 

Once she began classes, she found her instructors friendly, accessible, and committed to student success. The instructors were understanding and adapted to the varying capacities and backgrounds of all students, allowing them to connect much deeper with the topic at hand. In addition to providing countless resources, Saritha also found the content and her instructors interesting and engaging, even in an online environment. 

Saritha is now completing her internship, where she has the opportunity to explore her interests within different areas of digital marketing. In the future, she hopes to work in the environmental, financial, or education industries in a communications specialist role where she can apply her previous experience along with what she has learned at triOS. Most importantly, Saritha hopes to continue to bring real and impactful value through her work and strives to find a role where she can truly make a difference.
