A Personal Support Worker (PSW) Student’s Experience with Remote Learning
November 5th, 2020
Going into the program, I really didn’t have any expectations. I knew it would all be done online, but I had no idea that we would be sitting in essentially a virtual classroom. I also didn’t know that we would have an actual live teacher. I had assumed it would be more so we got videos to watch, workbooks to do, and quizzes. That being said, I am very grateful that they decided to have an actual teacher. It made the entire experience much more like a classroom than an individual isolated learning experience.
You are a fantastic teacher. You’re able to teach in such a way that the information is absorbed through real life examples and stories, as well as being ready and willing to answer every single question we have, silly or otherwise.

There are many benefits to remote learning for students while they are obtaining their education.
The formatting of learning a module together as a class through slides, followed by workbook chapters and eventually a test is pretty good. All in all, I had a very good experience with triOS, and I feel as prepared as I can be to enter into this new and scary workforce.
Thank you Divya for being an awesome teacher, a very kind soul and overall, just amazing.
