If You were Laid off because of COVID-19
The Ontario government is making it easier and faster for laid-off workers to access the Second Career program. If you were laid off in one of the sectors most impacted by COVID-19 in 2020, you may benefit from these changes. You may be eligible for up to $28,000 in funding to assist with the cost of tuition, fees, books, transportation, childcare, and other applicable expenses including a basic living allowance up to a maximum of $410 per week.
